Bangladesh dermatological Society is a non-profit, tax-exempt and registered welfare organization established on 1962. Its basic purpose is to provide human welfare, low cost health services, increase awareness of skin illnesses,
leprosy, arsenic, STDs, HIV/AIDS, and sexual disorders among general population, as well as their treatment and remedies.
The Memorandum and Articles of the Association of Bangladesh dermatological Society was registered under Section 4(3) of Voluntary Social Welfare Organizations (Registration and Control) Ordinance (Number 46) 1961 on the year 1963. The Bangladesh dermatological Society is managed by a 37 member’s executive committee headed
by a President. At present life member of Bangladesh Dermatological Society are 720 (up to March 2024). In order to establish a permanent welfare institution at the national level Bangladesh dermatological Society procured a plot
of land measuring 1 Bighas i.e. 0.24 acres at 29/2 Darus Salam Road, Mirpur-1, Dhaka. On 29 july 2009 Bangladesh Dermatological Society constructed the present one storied Hospital and Institute building with underground parking in its own premises.
Bangladesh Dermatological Society aims to deliver highest quality of treatment to patients through qualified and experienced medical professionals.
